Welcome!

Hello everybody!
Allow me to personally welcome you to my Blog!

I created this Blog with the intention of sharing my great interest for anything military-related with anyone who also shares this very passion; in particular, I want to share my knowledge, my experiences, what I know and what I have seen, with anyone that would appreciate it.

And I don't ask for anything else: knowing that the articles I write will be enjoyed by someone, even a single person; knowing that what I write will be of help to somebody; knowing that maybe, just maybe, something I did will brighten someone's day even just a little, help them forget whichever problem they have, even if just for a second. I couldn't ask for more.
Just knowing that what I like, my interests, my passion will grow into fruits for others to take and enjoy; that's enough for me. So, thank you, I do mean it.

This Blog is still in its early life, it's a newborn, but I aim at shaping and improving it much further, so that it will become a great source of knowledge, information and interest for others sharing my passion. And if you want to help me, you need but to ask; I'm already grateful for the fact you are here.

Most likely I will have to enable AdSense on my Blog: but, please, I ask for your understanding: the little I will make with advertisement on my Blog will be used for the maintenance of the Blog itself and reinvested so that I can write new articles. So, when that time comes, I kindly ask you to turn off Adblock and any other similar programs: it costs you nothing and would help me, and this very Blog, out a lot: I won't allow for any invasive, annoying advertisement such as videos and pop-up pages; but simple, and only, banners, so that your experience on this Blog might be as enjoyable as ever: you are, and will always be, my first and foremost concern.

As said, this Blog will concern my experiences with any military-related stuff: from games to real-life military museums; and much more. In the future, in fact, I aim at expanding this Blog even further - and I do have several ideas in mind already - but, as of now, four main subjects are treated in my Blog:

Tanktastic is a mobile MMO game available for both Android and iOS devices. The game itself revolves around battles between steel-clad beasts with numerous neat gameplay features such as CAS (Close Air Support) and different gameplay modes.
With over 95 units, from late-WWII heavy tanks to the latest MBTs, and several different vehicle classes to choose, from infantry fighting vehicles to multiple launch rocket systems, it's quite obvious why it quickly became one of my favourite games.

Loving tanks and armoured fighting vehicles in general, their specifications and even their tiniest details, I eventually came to know a lot about the game's units. Hence, willing to do something with this knowledge to help others, newbies and experienced players alike, I thus set out to create ambitious tank reviews aimed at holding as much informations as possible

Unless you have been living under a rock, you probably know, or easily figure out, that World of Tanks Blitz is the mobile version of the famous MMO game World of Tanks, revolving around players fighting in online battles while commanding tanks from the Interwar Period up until the Cold War Era.

It's been such a long time since I started playing World of Tanks: I was one of the first that joined the WoT Community back when the game first came out in EU in 2011.
I was one of the first "pathfinders", the first to study and analyze the game mechanics, create strategies and uncover weak spots; I witnessed the game developing into one of the biggest and most successful military-related MMOs games.

I partecipated in competitions, I won and lost battles, and eventually, reached the top alongside some of the most famous elite clans.

When World of Tanks Blitz came out, I could not help myself: it was a blast from the past, it was like replaying WoT as it used to be during its first years of life, it was like reliving those very experiences.

Considering the steep learning curve this game forces onto players; what I learnt and discovered myself through the hard way, I am willing - no, more than glad to share with anyone interested in listening to me; particularly in the form of tanks reviews

One good thing about living in Europe, as a military enthusiast, is that it has been forged and quenched by conflicts since the dawn of civilization itself.
All major conflicts were fought on the blood-stained ground of Europe; their scars still visible for anyone willing to accept them and see them; in the form of slumbering tanks in a military museum or in the form of everlasting wounds on crater-riddled mountains, beaches and fields.

Whichever the form, whatever the case, I accept them; and, having the great luck of being able to travel often and by myself, to whichever place I please, whenever I can; I am also able to see them personally. But, such experiences, lose much of their meaning if not shared with those who would appreciate them just as much as you do.

Hence why, fellow brothers and sisters in arms, I am more than glad to also share my real-life experiences with you!

Being a hopeless military enthusiast, with a particular interest in ground forces and AFVs, it shouldn't come as that much as a surpise that I am also an insatiable model collector, particularly of armoured vehicles belonging to the Second World War, the Interwar Period and the earliest stages of the Cold War; though I also possess several models of modern AFVs and MBTs. such as the T-14 Armata.

I have thus acquired a rather wide knowledge in regard to model collecting, with tens of models from manufacturers such as Dragon Armor, Trumpeter, Tamiya, Panzerstahl and so on.

Having noticed there is often little source of information in regard to military models, I thus decided to share my opinions and my experiences in this regard as well. However, remember that you are also free to ask questions in the comment sections, with the due courtesy and manners, of course; or directly send me a PM.

Whatever the reason that brought you here, I sincerely thank for the time you used while reading the articles I wrote and I hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed writing them down for you!

Thank you once again and I hope you'll have a pleasant experience on my Blog!
Altank.
